Bernard English Goldsmith is a family-run business that has occupied the corner building on Drogheda's main thoroughfare for more than 30 years. It is hard to imagine now, but the original shop - opened in 1974 - was run by Bernard alone and catered for a small, local market. Since then, the business has expanded and now employs eight people, caters for a local, national and international clientele and has a state-of-the-art workshop on site, with one Master Goldsmith and one fully qualified Goldsmith providing a comprehensive range of services.

Throughout these decades of growth and expansion, Bernard’s philosophy has remained the guiding force: to create hand-crafted jewellery to the highest standards of the Master Goldsmith, and to provide a level of customer service that is second to none.
